"Because travelling is food for the soul" My new adventure this year has been going around Somerset in England to discover all the beauties it has to offer. Today we headed down to Brean Down, a peninsula off the coast of Somerset in the Mendip Hills. Only 30 min away from Weston-Super-Mare going towards Burnham-on-Sea. To do all the walk it takes you 2.5 hrs but is it well worth the hike. This outstanding headland stands 318 feet high and 1.5 miles long. It has a Roman temple and a II World war fort called Palmerston. It was a very good day out and I recommend it to anybody visiting the area. For more information go to The Natural Trust website. |

Love your photos and your blög. Maybe get to share a trail or path in the near future across Somerset? Happy Venturing :-)
