About 12,000 people in Guatemala are African descendants and they came in British ships mostly departing from Bristol.
A town called Livingstone in Izabal is where they have found a home and thrive They love drums and music and have a rich cuisine where you find from coconut shrimp to the famous "Tapado" witch is a seafood soup with plantain and coconut milk.
