Fiambre from Guatemala
One of the biggest Guatemalan traditions is Fiambre. This is a traditional plate that combines pickled veggies and cold cuts of meat beautifully decorated to be shared with your family and friends for November 1st. This is when me celebrate day of the dead and remember our ancestors.
My family have been cooking this for generations and my grandma used to put over 50 ingredients. It took us over 3 days to prepare.
