Showcasing Guatemalan flag and Mayan textiles supporting a
North Somerset BME Network event in Weston-super-Mare. It was very interesting to see people approach me and ask me questions about Guatemala. Your North Somerset event is organized by North Somerset Council every year to showcase cultures in the area. I showed Mayan textiles and provided information to residents about my country Guatemala
Cultural talk to primary school in Clevedon
Sharing my knowledge, I visited Year 2 primary school pupils in Clevedon and did a Guatemala presentation talking about flora and fauna of the country of Eternal Spring. Children were very interested about Tarantulas and volcanoes. Did you know Guatemala has 33 volcanoes? l

Black Bean Food Tasting Event at Pop Up Business school in Weston-super-Mare, England. Black bean is our staple food in Guatemala. It is rich in proteins, fiber and low in fat. British residents rated them 9/10 :)
Latinamerican handcrafts
Colorful piñatas were made by Latinzest at the North Somerset BME Network annual General Meeting in Victoria Church, Weston-super-Mare. I created the "Latin Experience" in Weston-super-Mare. Residents learned Spanish food ingredients and enjoyed eating tacos.
Rating 10/10 Women's Information and Celebration Day: Latinamerican women living in Bristol and North Somerset. Residents enjoyed the Guatemala and Mayan textile exhibition. With information about Lake Atitlan, Tikal and Antigua Guatemala. Have I inspired you to travel?
Children in Mead Vale Primary school in Weston-super-Mare enjoyed a cultural presentation about Guatemala. The country of eternal spring has so much to offer, from Mayan ruins to dangerous tarantulas. They loved it!

North Somerset BME Network invited me to give a talk about "Women in Engineering" for the World Women's Equality Day 2017 in W-sM.
My aim is to inspire more women to study sciences and engineering. Latinzest organised a Summer Bring and Share Picnic on May Half Term 2017 where a group of 10 mothers and children attended. We had a very nice and sunny day in the water park in Weston-super-Mare. Parent did not pay admission fee. Join us next time!

North Somerset Council hosted residents with roots from across the globe for a commemorative celebration at Weston Town Hall. Commonwealth flag was raised by council leader Nigel Ashton and chairman John Crockford-Hawley.

Volunteering in the community is so important, so my daughter and I gave Free Spanish lessons for primary children in the Town Hall.
We had a group of 8 children and they enjoyed it very much. Thank you to all that attended. Southwest Foundation gave a training to empower "Women in the Community". I was held at the Commodore Hotel in Kewstoke and we have attendees from Guatemala, India, South Africa, Venezuela, Philippines and China
I gave a presentation to Weston College students about
"Eco Tourism in Guatemala." They learned about the main touristic destinations and activities in Guatemala. There were lots of great questions. Collaborated with
