See the red cross? on the right side of the fiesta site.I never thought in a million years I was going to live in England and meet so many amazing people... Learning about other cultures is amazing and meeting people from other places far an away is very exciting for me.. so what are you going to learn this year? A new language maybe travel to a new country? The world is a smaller place than you think and there are no strangers... only friends we haven't met.
Have a great day! I had the amazing opportunity to share a traditional dance from Guatemala and show a Mayan costume in The International Costume Day. This dance is called "El Son" and the music was "Marimba", witch is our national instrument in Guatemala. We got to see traditional costumes from Japan, Wales, Pakistan, Nigeria and of course Guatemala! This event was organized by the Bridge of Peace Volunteers Association and by the Women's Federation of World Peace in Bristol yesterday. We also got the opportunity to meet with Bristol Labour Councillor Faruk Chodhudry to talk about how to get involved with the communities. I am very pleased to had my first interview by BBC Bristol radio. You can listen to it live today Sunday 30th of December from 3:30-5:00 at 94.9 Fm or online at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radiobristol/on-air Come Along in your traditional Costume!
