I moved to Locking in February 2014 and I am slowly discovering all the treasures that the villages have to offer.
From a Guatemalan point of view, everything is so different that I find myself learning more and more about British history.
I have started a Pinterest collection that I wanted to share with you, since there are some amazing buildings in Banwell.
Hope you enjoy it and I will keep building it and learning from the other villages in North Somerset.
Giving a #Guatemala Presentation today at #MFA Multicultural Friendship Association in #WSM #England
When I first moved into England, I wanted to learn about British culture. You can buy a book and read about it or you can meet the local people and experience it!
I discover village and Farmer's market in Portishead and now I live in Locking I am hoping to visit all surrounding villages in North Somerset.
You will find fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), local treats like jams and cakes and if you are lucky a local butcher and a fishmonger.
Villages markets are an essential part of rural British culture and if you live in #WestonSuperMare I invite you go East & discover other villages like Locking, Hutton, Banwell, Sandford, Churchill, Winscombe, Langford.
So today we are going to discover Hutton in North Somerset. Who wants to join us?
When? Saturday 1st. March 2014
Where? Hutton Village Hall
